This summer Miranda and I worked on an episode of “Digging up Britain’s Past “. This is a new archaeological series with Channel 5, exploring the fascinating periods in British history uncovered through archaeological digs. For this episode, Marc Meltonville (Food Historian) and presenter Raksha Dave (Field and Public Archaeologist and Broadcaster), were exploring the culinary cravings of the Tudors. Miranda was asked to develop and perfect the Tudor gingerbread recipe and baking them using historical molds borrowed from Dr. Annie Gray (Food Historian). Culinary Concept's brief was to research, develop and produce a “Tudor Rose” with accompanying sweets in marzipan.
