Food Costing (made simple)

An app to calculate a dish selling price using Gross Profit %, Food Cost % or Factor Costing. Calculations can include all or any of the following -  VAT, service charge and wastage.  It can aid in maintaining menus to budget and achieving sensible pricing strategies. 

How to use
This app allows a user to either: ADD costs to a plate/dish cost to calculate accurate selling prices and gross profits on individual dishes or REMOVE costs from a selling price and calculate the plate/dish cost.

 Adding costs – the user inputs:
 1.  Currency
 2.  ADDING COSTS button
 3.  Dish/plate cost
 4.  Wastage %
 5.  Choose to input a Gross Profit % or a Food Cost % or a Costing Factor

Removing costs - the user inputs:
1.  Currency
2.  REMOVING COSTS button
3.  Total selling price inc. VAT and Service Charge
4.  Service Charge %
5.  VAT %
6.  Choose to input a Gross Profit % or a Food Cost % or a Costing Factor
7.  Wastage
